bored at work....

So at my work, our employee website often sends out polls to all the employees asking us, "If you could invent a new ice cream flavor, what would it be and why?" Noticing how bored I was, and realizing that I had absolutely nothing better to do at all, this was my answer:

Well, first off I'd like to really thank you for posting this poll to all the labs. This is a question I feel quite strongly about and have given much thought to. There has been much speculation over the years about ice cream flavor and, more precisely, the effect that ice cream, by its very nature, has had on the human condition. Over the centuries, ice cream has transformed from a simple, hot summer day refreshment, into a national icon, symbolizing the American Dream as we know it. No matter how poor, how rich, how black, how white, how Asian, how Indian, how Scottish a people may be, ice cream indeed draws all walks of life, races, genders, and parties together in a way no other frozen treat could. It is for this reason, I would invent a flavor that could capture all of these ideals and principles into one mouthful of delicious ecstasy, filling an individual with both hope and fear at the same time, both joy and pain, both selflessness and greed, both freedom and imprisonment. This flavor would transcend all flavors. It would capture the hearts, taste buds, and minds of children and grownups alike all over the world. This ice cream would become an over-night sensation, causing wide-spread demand for the flavor. This flavor would be called CLOUD 9 ICE CREAM. Everyone would eat it after every meal. Soon, this ice cream would prove to be a more powerful force than the sword and world peace, causing it's own phenomenon: ICE CREAM PEACE. This peace would never be able to be broken, until a shortage of milk developed, at which point chaos would develop and wide-spread panic would ensue. This would obviously lead to a new age Space race, searching the galaxy for any other traces of a milky substance  to create more CLOUD 9 ICE CREAM. The library is slow tonight.

Maybe I'll write a book about this later in life...
